Volker Beutner holds a graduate degree in Physics from the University of Georgia. After graduation, he completed an internship at Fraunhofer Society, one of Europe's leading research and development organizations. He began his career as a Computer Systems and Performance Engineer at ASML in San Diego. Since then, he has worked as a Machine Learning Engineer, first at General Atomics and currently at First American Financial.

Volker lives in Winchester, CA. When he's not exploring Document AI trends or coding with LLMs, he enjoys time with his beloved family, watching Formula 1, reading fantasy novels, and occasionally playing soccer when his knees cooperate.
